Arranged in the key of D, a number of chords in this suggested chord progression for Georgia on My Mind have what are known as altered notes in them eg b9, b5. Don’t be scared off by these bluesy notes. Have a go at a playing these chords because once you start to get your fingers used to the shapes (and your ears used to the sound) you will just love playing them. Remember, every chord you know at the moment was new to you at some time so these chords are no different.
