My Funny Valentine was first published in 1937 and was a popular showtune of the time. Written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart for the Broadway musical Babes in Arms, it is included in the Great American Songbook and performed by many artists notably Miles Davisn Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald. It is still a popular Jazz standard today and continues to be performed and recorded by artists such as Michael Buble and Elvis Costello. In Japan it is the fifth most popular valentine’s song | |
